Hall of Fame - Class of 2006
Kirk Dahlke - American Falls After serving thirty-nine years as a teacher and influential wrestling coach, Kirk Dahlke retired from American Falls High School in 2005. Throughout his career, Kirk demonstrated a deep concern for the welfare of his students and athletes, and was a positive influence in the lives of countless young men and women.
Mary Jean Hinkemeyer - Kellogg Instrumental in the development of girls athletics in North Idaho, Mary Jean Hinkemeyer spent thirty years of a thirty-two year career as a teacher and coach in the Kellogg School District before retiring in 1989. Mary Jean was a valuable contributor to many programs and professional organizations, including sixteen years on the District I Board of Control.
Betty Jones - Malad Girls athletic programs in southeastern Idaho owe a great deal to pioneers such as Betty Jones, a life-long teacher, coach and activity administrator who retired in 1986 from the Richfield School District. Betty devoted 40 years to student activities and the development of girls sports, starting both the girls track and volleyball programs at Malad High School in the early 1970s.
Ron Kress - Pocatello After an illustrious 39-year career teaching and coaching basketball in eastern Idaho, Ron Kress retired from Pocatello High School in 2004. Most of his career was spent at Highland and Pocatello High Schools, where his basketball teams amassed a combined 399-155 win-loss record. While at Highland, Ron’s teams qualified for the state tournament fourteen straight years.
